Formerly known as The Funny Farm, Moments in Time is a written account of some of our more memorable moments.
I am a wife and mother to 4 beautiful children, 3 of whom were born under my heart and 1 who was born in it.
I like Joe Louis, potato chips and chewing gum. But not necessarily at the same time.

Farewell
Say not in grief that she is no more but say in thankfulness that she was A death is not the extinguishing of a light, but the putting out of the lamp because the dawn has come.
A light from the family is gone
ReplyDeleteA voice we loved is stilled
A place is vacant in the home
Which never can be filled
We have to mourn the loss of one
We would’ve loved to keep
But God who surely loved her best
Has finally made her sleep
God saw you getting tired
and a cure was not to be
so he put his arms around you
and whispered,
"Come to Me"
With tearful eyes we watched you
as you slipped away
and although we loved you dearly
we could not make you stay.
A Golden heart stopped beating
you are finally at rest.
God broke our hearts to prove us
he only takes the best
Did you write this? It's beautiful and brought tears to my eyes.
